· The Settlements analyst to Affirm / confirm cash settlement for executed deals with the various counterparties

Reporting: Prepare and generate accurate reconciliation reports and management information, highlighting key findings, trends, and potential risks.

Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with reconciliation activities, implement appropriate controls, and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.

Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to wealth management operations and reconciliation processes.

Data Verification: Validate and analyze transactional data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Process Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement and automation to enhance operational efficiency, reduce risks, and streamline reconciliation procedures.

Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of reconciliation processes, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including revenue analysis reports, variance analysis, and management reports.

1 to 2 years experience in Finance, Accounting or related field

Knowledge of ERP systems and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is desirable.

College or Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably with a focus on revenue analysis and bank reconciliations.

Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time management skills

Identify service gaps provided to client groups and makes suggestions to management for improvement.

Assume project work outside of the general reconciliation process as determined by management.

Strictly adhere to policies and regulatory requirements.

3+ years of experience within the Wealth Management, platform, banking or other relevant industry.

Supports the BAU function with deliverables as and when required, ensure knowledge of process is maintained by performing BAU tasks regularly

Able to demonstrate knowledge of US and Canada regulations.

Excellent and proven conflict resolution skills.

Responsible for driving resolution of all outstanding breaks through escalation and query management.

Ownership for specified Trust Accounting reconciliations across suspense accounts

Investigation and source all breaks on a timely basis.

Ensure that the processing of journal entries is sent for approval prior to the deadline.

Follow-up and escalation of outstanding breaks

Ensure that there are no breaks sourced to GR > 5 days.

Good understanding of project management, scrum and/or agile environment,

Manage ad-hoc tasks that emerge as necessary, and provide status updates regularly.

Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Math.

Ability to manage priority and multi-task.

Basic or advanced working knowledge of VBA, SQL, Tableau, or Python is an asset.

Practical experience in Jira and/or confluence
