Oversee and manage audits of our clients from planning to completion and ensure client service excellence

Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and minimum 4 years of relevant work experience

2-3 years of experience within the Public Accounting industry

Previous experience using the various accounting frameworks applicable in Canada (IFRS, ASPE, NPO and/or Public Sector)

Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the client’s business to develop and maintain strong client relationships

Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities and take initiative to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Education: Post-Graduate degree, MBA, PMP, or other relevant designations; or equivalent experience

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills

Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationship with clients and teams

Experience as an internal or external consultant considered an asset

Experience in emerging markets and/or commodities would be considered an asset

Knowledge in industry-leading economic and portfolio analysis software including Bloomberg, Macrobond or similar, etc.

Experiences And Skills You’ll Use To Solve

Experience in a professional services firm is preferred, working with energy industry clients would be an advantage

This role best suits a team player with a CPA/CA designation (other accounting or finance based designations will be considered)

Experience with Alteryx, Tableau and Microsoft Power BI is an advantage

This role doesn’t support completion of the Canadian CPA designation

Understand the business/assets being valued, its historical and projected performance as well as key strengths and challenges

Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems

Manages and applies safe systems of work without supervision and provides technical guidance when required.

Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.

Identifies, assesses, prioritizes and manages risks in a production process with guidance (but not constant supervision)

Carry out operational tasks by following established processes. This will involve adjusting multiple settings or parameters to meet performance standards.

Carry out standard installation activities under detailed guidance. Troubleshoot basic technical or operational problems by applying previously defined solutions.

4+ years of experience working in the clean energy, development, construction, regulatory or finance space.

Demonstrate strong negotiation and facilitation skills with the ability to motivate, persuade and build consensus.

Bachelor's Degree in STEM, renewables-related, finance, or business discipline. Master's degree an asset.

Experience in Canadian, USA, American, European, and/or Asian markets.

Experience in ground mount, rooftop and floating projects at all scales from residential to utility.

Demonstrable knowledge of relevant engineering standards, best practices, and safety regulations.

You'll be comfortable being a lead lawyers and delegating portions of cases to more junior members of the team

A university degreein planning, engineering, urban design, environmental management, public policy, public administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

2+ years of experience in Principal Investing, Investment Banking, Restructuring, or other relevant areas

Experience conducting research and due diligence, evaluating transaction opportunities, performing financial and valuation analysis, and producing “client ready” investment materials

High level of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel and outstanding financial modeling skills

Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)

Build detailed financial models and perform complex financial analysis and valuations
