Rail Systems Assurance And Rams Manager Jobs

To report on the progress of his/her activities and alert the RAMS Manager in case of difficulty.

Good Knowledge of railway systems and operations, available E&M equipment and Subsystem

Knowledge of the rail construction environment and engineering practices

Good analytical skill is required

To deliver RAMS analyses compliant with project commitments.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including experience making presentations to senior management, elected officials and the public.

Strong business development and client management skills, scheduling techniques, and budget development;

Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) would be considered as an asset;

Proven leadership and management skills;

Prepare project work plans and schedules, and obtain management/client approval;

Analyze project management and project delivery risks, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating mitigating action;

Support Incident Management Planning and Investigation, as well as, Emergency and Crisis management process development and review;

Bachelor's degree or advanced education in a relevant discipline from an accredited university;

Demonstrated experience in leading SA/RAMS for a large organization, in the rail industry;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Perform SA/RAMS analysis, including, Preliminary Hazard Analysis, Sub system Hazards Analysis, System Hazard Analysis, and Operations and Support Hazard Analysis;

Design Management experience on LRT projects within Canada

Coordinating Quality Control of all deliverable submittals in accordance with GHD’s Quality Management System

Ensure fluid communication between the project management team, the design team, construction team and the various internal and external partners

Project Delivery in an alternate project delivery (P3, DB), and experience in leading design team arrangements with contractors and consultants

Knowledge of scheduling software and engineering and capital cost estimating techniques is a definite asset.

Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) on multi-discipline projects
