Quality Control And Assurance Manager Jobs in Alberta

Experience in MS Office, Excel, and database management.

Business / Project management skills (e.g. schedule, cost, resource planning, etc.)

Responsible for developing a quality management system and quality assurance support/audits for Capital Projects within Client sites.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project management teams to mitigate the risk associated with quality system implementation and safety in design.

Familiarity, understanding, knowledge, and previous experience of the following:

Facilitate lessons learned and document best practices so knowledge is shared and applied

Assist management with root cause analysis (RCA) investigation.

Assist with the development of training and education programs for staff around HSE.

Understand and accurately follow the SQS program and its requirements.

Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong Fact-Based Decision-Making skills – supports decisions with data and uses data to solve problems.

Strong execution skills – monitors progress to ensure achievement of goals and coordinates with other workgroups.

Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills

Deliver industry and technical expertise in audit and assurance through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and high-quality deliverables

Strong understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles

4 to 6 years of relevant public accounting experience

Lead client facing engagement teams to complete audits, compliance tax engagements, budgeting, internal controls and financial/accounting transactions

Accountable for engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (i.e., budgets, WIPS, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)
