Job Title: Quality Control/Assurance Manager

CWB Level 2 certification with 5+ years of experience

60 hours per week. Most shifts start at 7:00 am but hours may vary based on site requirements

Experience with weld mapping and as-built drawings

Competitive base salary, negotiable, based on experience

Good computer skills, especially in the use of MS Office and Google Docs

Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

3-5 years minimum experience in laying out and fabrication steel

Welding Certification in D1.1 and/or D1.5 is preferred

Perform documented daily inspections of fabricated steel in an AISC certified facility fabricating Structural Steel (D1.1/D1.5)

Inspect fabricated material to ensure conformance with the shop drawings

Report as needed on quality checkpoints to project management.

Assist with project compliance with Government standards for records management and information management.

Validate and verify that software meets the intended business and technical requirements, including in an agile, iterative and/or DevOps environment.

Implement operational techniques and activities to fulfill Project requirements for quality.

Plan and execute systematic activities to address compliance activities required by the Project to fulfill requirements.

Implement operational techniques and activities to fulfill Project requirements for Risk identification, analysis, and control.
