Overview Publicity Coordinators are responsible for creating and executing public relations and marketing strategies to promote their organization or client. They work with media outlets, create press releases, and manage social media accounts to increase public awareness of their organization or client. They work with media outlets, create press releases, and manage social media accounts to increase public awareness of their organization or client. They also develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, create promotional materials, and coordinate events. Job Skills Required• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of public relations and marketing principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of social media platforms
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications, or a related field
• At least two years of experience in public relations or marketing
• Knowledge of media relations and public relations principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
