Program Manager, National Youth Awareness

Well-established planning and project management skills with an ability to think strategically.

An understanding of how to manage, utilize and leverage data analytics.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proven success in interpreting, synthesizing and translating complex information into simple, compelling language.

Providing senior-level writing and editing services for all channels.

Building and maintaining high-trust relationships and partnerships with a variety of stakeholders including vendors, community organizations and agencies and other regulators.

Creativity and an interest in reaching, engaging and helping Albertans.

Demonstrated ability to leverage strong relational and project management skills to work with internal and external stakeholders in a complex environment

Use the department’s standard project management system to maintain accurate and robust project information

Create strategies and action plans, and identify resource requirements and timelines for public engagement

Monitor, report and evaluate participation in and participant experience of public engagement activities

Experience as a facilitator and in planning and delivering meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders

Experience in inclusive approaches (such as Gender Based Analysis or other) to engagement

Experience with the Management Information System (MIS)

Experience with the Integrated Case Management System (ICM)

Experience with TALM (Time and Leave Management)

Minimum six (6) months experience working in an office setting.

Experience with the MARS (Corporate Data Warehouse)

Experience with CRMS and ARCS/ORCS

Experience working in an office and team setting.

Intermediate experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook or equivalent email system).

Two (2) or more years' experience working in an office and team setting.

A certificate or diploma or higher level of education.

Secondary school graduation or equivalent.

Preference May Be Given To Applicants With The Following

Minimum 1 year of experience with program evaluation and performance management theories, principles, models and related systems/technologies.

Preference may be given to candidates with experience in contract management.

Travel will be required in this position.

Minimum of two years of experience in public speaking/stage delivering creative and dynamic presentations or education/training

Ensuring that donations are managed as per policies and that donors are thanked and stewarded

A University degree or College diploma in Education, Social Services, or related discipline

Minimum of two years of experience working with youth

Knowledge of issues affecting street-involved youth an asset

Knowledge of sex trafficking an asset

3-5 years’ demonstrated experience and application of adult learning principles, instructional principles and/or methodologies

Demonstrated experience coordinating training events in corporate settings

Knowledge of project evaluation methods to develop performance measures and report on project outcomes

Strong professional communication and presentation skills
