Overview A Professional Development Specialist is responsible for providing training and development programs to employees in order to improve their skills and knowledge. They work with individuals, teams, and organizations to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to help them reach their goals. They may also provide guidance and support to help employees reach their professional goals. Detailed Job Description A Professional Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training and development programs to employees. They must be able to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to help employees reach their goals. They must be able to assess the needs of the organization and create programs that meet those needs. They must be able to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs and make changes as needed. They must also be able to provide guidance and support to help employees reach their professional goals. Job Skills Required• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in education, training, or a related field

• Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
