Product Integrity Engineer Jobs

4 or more years of related experience

Experience with pipeline asset data, GIS tools, and pipeline related data analysis

For US candidates, registered as an Engineer-in-Training in good standing in the prevailing jurisdiction as a preferred qualification.

Knowledge of or experience with pipeline integrity standards and regulatory requirements

Clear understanding of end-user requirements, and integrity management methodologies.

Familiar pipeline integrity and data management.

Organize and track analysis deliverables – requirements, due dates, delivery dates, etc. Complete reports in support of assignments and projects.

Prepare and support deliverables using well-developed written and verbal communication skills; including report writing.

Estimate cost and schedule requirements for projects.

10+ years of engineering and project management experience.

Extensive knowledge and working experience with relevant codes regulatory bodies (US & Canada) and requirements to complete integrity projects.

Formal project management training would be considered an asset; and

Manage several projects with various size budgets and scope with vigorous timelines;

Ensure projects meet all safety, technical, operational and quality requirements defined in Pembina’s specifications and standards and industry regulatory codes;

Manage project’s cost within budget and schedule, providing monthly cost forecast and variance analysis as necessary;

Analyze management of change requests from Operation to understand the plus-value based on facts.

Lead the management of change process from the request to the final implementation.

Continuously seek to improve technical knowledge and skills.

A minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience.

Previous experience in open pit mining or mineral processing (specifically gold processing) is considered an asset.

Good observational and analytical skills.

BS in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4-5 years of experience

Experience with Ansys PowerArtist, Cadence Joules for Power Analysis/savings

Strong knowledge of Verilog with emphasis on RTL, rather than system or gate level.

Experience with Ansys Redhawk/Redhawk-SC, Cadence Voltus for Power Analysis and EM/IR.

Fundamental programming skills (Bash, Perl, Python, TCL, or similar languages).

Excellent organization and communication skills, written & verbal.

Detail oriented with strong project management, problem solving, and negotiating skills

Participate in internal stakeholder collaboration meetings and manage the requirements of the Cavern Integrity Program.

Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with advanced technical writing skills

Prepare all health, safety, environment, and other program documents in accordance with Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other Plains’ governance procedures

Provide technical evaluation of cavern and well performance and integrity, including troubleshooting when required

Experience working for a management consulting firm would be considered an asset

Collaborate with Technology/Product Management and Quality Analytics team to manage and establish product integrity management systems metrics and reporting platforms.

Manage detailed data gathering and complex analyses to extract insights and make recommendations to the Product Integrity/Global Quality leadership team.

Manage and facilitate creation of corrective and preventative action plans to implement improvements to drive operational excellence with Product Integrity/Global Quality

Ability to address tactical business problems with strategic solutions, and critical thinking skills

Prior people leadership experience is an asset

Preference for working knowledge of GE-APM (Meridium), RBMI, PCMS or other similar RBI and Inspection Data Management Systems.

Preference for knowledge and experience in industry pressure equipment codes, corrosion mechanisms, risk assessment and pressure equipment inspection methodologies

Leverage RBI assessments to identify the appropriate inspection activities to manage the risk throughout the operating interval between inspections.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering

Registered, or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)

Well-developed critical thinking, with an ability to apply logic and challenge assumptions

Minimum of 2 years of experience in asset integrity management, with a focus on digitalization and IoT technologies

Develop and implement digitalization and IoT strategies for asset integrity management, including condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance

Evaluate the effectiveness of existing asset management practices and recommend improvements based on digitalization and IoT technologies

Provide technical support for the integration of digital and IoT solutions with existing enterprise asset management (EAM) systems

Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in asset integrity management, digitalization, and IoT

Strong understanding of asset management principles, including reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and risk-based inspection (RBI)

Product Life-cycle Management (PLM) systems knowledge an asset

Accountable for the escalation of any and all quality issues, testing failures and potential risk to the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance

Strong cross-functional communication and working knowledge of all aspects of product development and production life-cycle

Minimum 4 years of apparel manufacturing experience specializing in quality assurance, production and or technical design

Displays strong oral and written communication skills

Must have strong analytical skills and be able to make independent decisions

Develop new products and processes via mechanical testing and qualification of electrical connectors and components.

Develop test sequences and procedures to determine the long-term reliability of electrical connectors that factor in customer use and application requirements.

MS/PhD Mechanical Engineering with 5 – 10 years of experience

Experience with solid modeling tools - Pro/E and/or Solidworks

Experience with data analysis software, MS Excel, Minitab would be a plus

Experience developing test plans for mechanical and environmental stresses of I/O connectors, ESD testing would be a plus
