Product Development Supervisor Jobs

· Post-secondary education in Food Science, Science, Engineering, Culinary or related field

We have two positions, for our Edmonton and Calgary facilities.

· Work with Quality Assurance on preparation and production of samples, testing, nutritional analysis, shelf life studies;

· Maintain R&D areas and fulfill other related duties

· Lead continuous improvement projects

· Minimum of 3 years in product development or related field

Prepare and assist with administrative reports/by-laws for site plan, subdivision and development agreements, including any security/financial requirements and any special provisions.

Performs other duties as assigned which are directly related to the major responsibilities of the job.

Attend pre-consultation meetings to provide recommendations and direction.

Prepare engineering comments for planning applications (Committee of Adjustment and Zoning and Official Plan Amendments, Draft Plan of Subdivision/Condominium).

Identify developments that require cost sharing arrangements, prepare agreements and coordinate.

Act as the primary contact during the construction phase of development projects.

Support Quality Management System initiatives

Experience in equipment qualification and process validation

Familiarity with regulatory requirements with respect to validation and qualification activities in pharmaceutical industry

Demonstrated ability in project management and project management tools.

Make recommendations such as equipment qualification, maintenance and calibration programs

Experience in process and/or product development
