Experience in sourcing, contracting, operational efficiency projects, or relevant commodity experience.

The ability to explain general capability area information to others or collect/translate moderate complexity stakeholder requirements in straightforward situations.

Knowledgeable in procurement systems and operational processes, such as contracting, (e) Sourcing, and spot buying is desired.

Knowledge in the Clinical Development and/or Clinical Technologies area (e.g. Clinical Research Organizations, Imaging.)

Proven capability in negotiating project budgets and contracts

Business level fluency in English.

Experience in Procurement field, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, Operations.

3-5 years of relevant experience.

A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Previous experience in CPG is an asset

University/College degree in Arts, Science or Engineering.

Bilingual French/English is an asset.

Knowledge of or experience with SAP would be an asset

Provide bidding requirements from the project team or sole source justification to Supply Chain

Liaise with vendors, Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, and Finance representatives

2 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience using ERP system

Support project team in providing forecast of procurement needs to Supply Chain

Liaise with the sourcing / procurement person in charge to initiate the vendor setup and maintenance in SAP

- Profound knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management

- Conduct global/international sourcing, vendor development, and pre-qualifications, including knowledge of criteria for prequalification

- Manage RFQ, technical bid evaluation, single source vendor or monopoly selection

- Manage vendor detail engineering, review cycles, and progress monitoring

- Facilitate interdepartmental coordination, coordinate with finance department, logistics coordination, construction coordination, and commissioning coordination

- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experience

Min Diploma in Supply Chain/ Logistics Management/Engineering or equivalent preferably.

Good communication skills, to liaise with multilingual associates, proficiency in English and Mandarin is a must.

Managing RFQ processes, including negotiation and evaluation of supplier quotes

Sourcing and evaluation of new vendor

Reduce costs for components being bought as a core KPI

Analyse and set purchase strategy for assigned commodity

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience.

Manufacturing environment experience (Medical manufacturing is a plus)

Six Sigma Knowledge or excel.

This person will also ensure that the supplier documentation collected is saved in the proper locations per outlined work instructions.

The person selected will also work directly with select vendors ensuring their items are available for production and customers.

Will also ensure approved supplier part database is maintain in Oracle.

Review Vendor audits, Code certifications, and quality assurance qualifications, as required

Determine the technical and quality requirements for items/services using the Nuclear Plant design basis to maintain configuration control

Utilize design basis requirements to establish material classification, alternate replacement evaluation, shelf life evaluations, and in-storage maintenance requirements

Self-manage Procurement Engineering assignments/tasks utilizing applied scheduling tools

Complete training courses to maintain Procurement Engineering qualifications

Professional Certification CCA Gold Seal Program would be an asset
