Printing Feeder Jobs

Follows all corporate policies and procedures pertaining to Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems  *

Knowledge of printing process and terminology  *

Basic technical and mechanical skills as relates to the position  *

Perform other duties as assigned by manager  *

Fulfills all duties and responsibilities pertaining to health and safety under the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Ability to interpret and follow job related instructions  *

5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the commercial printing industry

Technically savvy - Solid understanding of production capabilities and technologies

Intermediate computer skills in MSOffice required

The Production manager will Manage and Lead the manufacturing operations for the Commerical Print Facility.

The candidate will be providing leadership and direction for manufacturing initiatives.

Ensure the Health and Safety of the employees

Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment; be familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets regarding chemicals used.

Strong mechanical skills, manufacturing experience, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Minimum of two years experience in a commercial printing company or equivalent manufacturing industry.

Experience with commercial sheetfed work preferred.

Ensure paper is loaded into the feeding-end for running jobs, as well as maintain paper supply throughout the job run.

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

Minimum 2 years of experience working in a mail room or copy centre

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop business relationships

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Sorting and distribution of mail and office supplies, including interoffice, couriers and overnight mail

Delivery of mail and printing projects throughout the customers site

Collecting, reviewing and updating configuration management data for input into the environmental configuration management information system

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Physically assembling complete or partial Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and identifying and actioning deficiencies in data packages of systems and equipment

Receiving, logging, taking custody of and acknowledging the receipt of TDPs which describe additions, modifications and/or deletions of technical data

Modifying, validating and compiling technical data package lists, that will include:

Equipment and system data lists and drawings

Ensure production objective requirements are met on a daily basis

View production schedule on a daily basis, in order to schedule manning requirements by production.

Train employees in job duties, safety procedures and company policies

3-5 years’ experience within print environment

3-5 years’ experience within plant supervisor role

3-5 years’ experience with finishing/press production
