Principal Project Manager Engineer Jobs in Ontario

Overall project management of multiple projects during planning, design and contract administration phases including financial performance.

Superior client and interpersonal skills, combined with strong team and leadership abilities.

5 – 8 years or more of progressive engineering design experience.

1 – 3 years or more of providing effective mentoring to less experienced engineers, technicians, or designers.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (bilingualism considered a strong asset).

Manage the product definition process from requirements definition through design, development, validation & verification, and introduction to production

Program tracking and reporting using Project scheduling, reporting, and financial management tools as appropriate

Support change management including scope, schedule, cost, technical, resource, and risk assessment as well as program change requests

Knowledge and experience with the software development process and DO-178B

Overall technical coordination of design and development activities within the engineering functions to ensure that all customer requirements are addressed
