Preservation Coordinator – Kitimat Site Jobs in Alberta

Select type of pipe, size of pipe, and systems by applying knowledge of system operation and following blueprints

Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards

Construct support hangers and hydraulic cylinders according to specifications

Utilize pipe bending tools or machines to bend pipe

Perform pressure tests by increasing pressure in pipe systems and observing pressure gauges to test for leaks

Ensure that holes cut in pipe will not cause structural weakness

Data entry and analytics of KPI’s

1-2 years field drilling or oilfield experience

Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Proven operational, personnel motivation, planning & coordination skills

Experience and comfort working in a team with high performance expectations

Self-starter with high personal initiative and planning skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred; equivalent work experience is acceptable

5 – 10 years working experience in construction project management.

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is considered an asset

Proficient computer skills; experience with estimating software

Supervise/Monitor and foster project team performance, experience and growth

Knowledge of typical costs associated with piping and civil activities.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent relevant technical experience

Various other duties as requested by management.

Coordinate the hiring or re-allocation of project staff and advise project staff of their job responsibilities

Review the estimate (and project execution plan) and manage the project within the bid guidelines

Complete audits with the Quality Manager

Knowledge of RFI and EWO logs that are detailed yet concise

Sound knowledge of ASME B31.3, pressure piping code, and regulatory requirements

Able to interact with all levels of management

Assist in welder & craftsmen training with regard to Quality requirements.

A minimum of 5 years of industrial construction experience

Must have previous experience developing I.T.P's and completing final turnover.

Prepare various spreadsheet reports for project management.

Prepare internal cost reports for management on a monthly basis.

Able to interact with all levels of management.

Advanced knowledge of software system capabilities and functionality.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
