Facilitate and meetings with designers and clients to discuss and manage system interfaces for complex Rail & Transit projects; and

The following experience would be considered an asset:

Minimum of 5 years of industry-related experience with at least 5 years of experience leading a team

Knowledge of best design practices to comply with different EMC standards

Extensive knowledge of components utilized in switch-mode power supply design

Agency compliance (UL, CSA, VDE, CE) experience

Experience in designing products for testability and manufacturability

Experience in designing microcontrollers to report and control power electronics

Knowledge or experience with Moodle or other Learning Management Systems (LMS) will be an asset.

First or Second Class Power Engineer Certificate endorsed by the Alberta Boiler Safety Association, plus several years of industry experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Adult instruction, training, and/or tutoring experience will be considered an asset.

Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Computer skills are required with a demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office tools and applications.

Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Brightspace or Moodle

Manage the classroom environment to ensure a positive learning experience for all learners

2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate required; 1st Class Power Engineering Certification is preferred

ABSA 2nd Class Power Engineering Certification required. Proof of certification will need to be provided in your application

2+ years of relevant industry experience required

Experience with videoconferencing technology (MS Teams, WebX, Skype or Zoom) required
