Provide trip planning services; activities, restaurant reservation and any other request from our guests.

Responsible for the 4-season activity guide.

Negotiate agreement with our partners.

Knowledge and experience in Adobe programs (i.e. Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is considered an asset

You have working knowledge of the Planning Act, Provincial Policy Statement, municipal Official Plans, and Zoning or Development Permit By-Laws

Requires the ability to coordinate diverse systems and to plan with excellence.

Understanding of exchange component programs;

Understanding of Company's and OEM policies and procedures as they relate to maintenance practices & parts supply.

New graduate or soon-to-be graduate to two years’ experience, preferably in the consulting industry

Some experience with coordinating planning approvals and permits is an asset

Familiarity with environmental assessment requirements and legislation, including the Planning Act, Provincial Policy Statement, and Local planning processes

Experience with site plan approvals and plan of subdivision/condominium processes will be considered an asset

Knowledge of the development industry and the land development approval process, and municipal planning policy

Strong communication, writing, organization and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of and experience with the land development process including site plans, neighborhood plans, and other planning applications.

Has knowledge of, and application of land use planning regulations.

1-3 years of related experience.

Strong ERSI, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and design skills.

Prepare planning maps and drawings.

Provide technical assistance and information to internal staff.

Duties to support the branch such as compiling and analyzing various data spreadsheets and management of the photo library

Sound experience as a Planning Assistant II or equivalent work experience

Demonstrated knowledge of local transportation issues and best practices for sustainable transportation.

Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and function as a team player while also working individually with minimal supervision.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with staff, the public and external agencies are needed.

Demonstrated consultation, research and analysis skills and a basic understanding of transportation network and circulation needs

$44.44 per hour, Pay Grade 13

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in AutoCAD

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in drafting and concept, site, and plan design and preparation

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs

Knowledge and experience in Adobe programs (i.e. Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) an asset

1-3 years of professional experience in a Planning Technician role in public or private sector
