Building a comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends

Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)

Demonstrating excellent communication skills and engaging members in conversations to finding out their immediate needs

Developing ongoing knowledge of our current investment/retail banking services and products (e.g., mutual funds, underwriting, credits, loans, investment needs, etc.)

Adhering to all audits, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks of fraud or loss

Developing, retaining and growing the branch business by delivering against individual and team sales goals that support a positive customer experience

Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)

Proactively gather and document all pertinent information required for the Financial Advisor to have a robust conversation

Reviewing personal accounts for completeness, accuracy, and ensure they are fully compliant. Look for recommendations to shape the members financial fitness

Opening and reviewing new accounts, following up with members as per member service guidelines

Preparing and entering loan application information

Supporting branch activities to grow new memberships and strengthen our financial relationship with existing members

Promoting referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking teams, and our 3rd party providers

Building a comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends

Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)

Demonstrating excellent communication skills and engaging members in conversations to determine their immediate needs

1 year of retail banking or sales experience in addition to your high school diploma.

Proactively gather and document all pertinent information required for the Financial Advisor to have a robust conversation.

Reviewing personal accounts for completeness, accuracy, and ensure they are fully compliant. Look for recommendations to shape the members financial fitness.

Opening and reviewing new accounts, following up with members as per member service guidelines.

Preparing and entering loan application information.

Knowledge of best practices in financial management, policy and strategy development for clients.

Knowledge of public sector financial legislation, municipal financial management (budgeting, reporting, and accounting) and the relevant financial software and systems.

Strong Project Management, Stakeholder engagement, communication, and organizational skills required.

Project Management certification or working toward project management certification would be considered an asset.

Address client challenges leveraging your strong technical skills, enabling competencies, and accounting experience.

Support PSD’s Asset Management team with financial analysis.

Project management experience is preferable.

Working in a role with diverse responsibilities and knowledge base.

Administering the Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD) and the Tuition Set Aside funds for students with disabilities.

Operating within budget allocation for both Institutional and OSAP related bursary programs and advising Manager/Director when additional funding requests are needed.

Coordinating and delivering detailed sessions for Manager/Director and staff in Student Services outlining Ministry changes to policies and procedures.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role.

High school diploma with over 1 year of relevant experience

Act as a point of contact for the frontline staff in handling customer problems
