Permanent Position Needed For August Jobs

Perform duties as a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor as required

Profound job-related experience, preferably as a Flight Instructor or Flight Examiner

Teaching experience within large, professional flight academy

Perform flight training for students in both airplanes and simulators, including necessary pre- and post-flight briefings

Complete training records and grading within an appropriate system

Participate in training reviews as required

Assists newcomer students to recognize job related skills and abilities and education required.

Minimum of five (5) years of comparable experience in an educational, human resources, employment service or counselling area.

Exceptional communication skills and community-based experience is required.

Provides assistance with applications to professional associations, on requirements, and processes, including advices on alternative careers.

Significant experience working with newcomer students or internationally trained professionals is essential.

Develops strategies to overcome sensitive issues related to individual employment barriers for newcomers.

A minimum of two (2) year Post-Secondary Diploma in Business/Office Administration, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience.

Composing, typing and filing, internal and external correspondence as directed by Manager, Dean, Associate Dean, or Assistant to Associate Dean

Process any supplemental department offerings/certificates – i.e. security licensing, private investigator licensing

Knowledge of Microsoft office products is essential, including Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Provide customer service to students, faculty, support staff, Advisory Committee members, and general public inquiries.

Posting class cancellation notices when faculty are off due to illness

Educate customers on the features and benefits of our partner Canadian Tire Triangle Mastercard within the store and kiosk

Provide expectational customer service ensuring customers have a great experience

Find creative approaches to engage customers and share the benefits of the product

Customer service or sales experience an asset

Strong listening and communication skills

Drive sales, advocacy and brand awareness for our client’s product
