Overview People Generalists are responsible for managing the human resources of an organization. They are responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing employees, as well as managing employee relations, compensation, and benefits. They also ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Detailed Job Description People Generalists are responsible for managing the human resources of an organization. They are responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing employees, as well as managing employee relations, compensation, and benefits. They also ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. People Generalists are responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures related to human resources, as well as developing and administering employee programs. They also provide guidance and advice to management on all matters related to human resources. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in human resources
• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g. PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
• Knowledge of recruitment and selection processes
• Knowledge of employee relations and performance management
• Knowledge of compensation and benefits
Job Experience
• At least 3 years of experience in human resources
• Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures
• Experience in developing and administering employee programs
