Overview A Payroll Tax Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all payroll taxes are paid in a timely and accurate manner. This includes calculating, filing, and remitting payroll taxes, as well as maintaining records and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Detailed Job Description The Payroll Tax Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely calculation, filing, and remitting of payroll taxes. This includes withholding taxes, Social Security, Medicare, and other payroll taxes. The Payroll Tax Specialist is also responsible for maintaining records of payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing assistance with payroll tax audits. Job Skills Required

• Ability to accurately calculate payroll taxes

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• At least two years of experience in payroll tax
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
