Overview A Payroll Representative is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for an organization. This includes calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensuring that all payroll records are accurate and up-to-date. They must also be knowledgeable of applicable laws and regulations related to payroll and be able to provide advice and guidance to employees and managers regarding payroll-related matters. Detailed Job Description The Payroll Representative is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for an organization. This includes calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensuring that all payroll records are accurate and up-to-date. The Payroll Representative must also be knowledgeable of applicable laws and regulations related to payroll and be able to provide advice and guidance to employees and managers regarding payroll-related matters.The Payroll Representative is responsible for the following tasks:
• Calculating wages, deductions, and taxes for each employee
• Processing payroll in a timely manner
• Ensuring accuracy of payroll records
• Maintaining payroll records
• Providing advice and guidance to employees and managers regarding payroll-related matters
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Responding to inquiries from employees and managers
• Preparing and submitting payroll reports
• Reconciling payroll accounts
• Assisting with the preparation of payroll budgets

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Job Knowledge
The Payroll Representative must have a thorough knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, as well as a working knowledge of payroll software. They must also be familiar with the organization’s payroll policies and procedures.
Job Experience
The Payroll Representative should have at least two years of payroll experience.
