Payroll Accounting Administrator Expert Jobs in Manitoba

Assisting the Finance Manager with accounting and administrative duties including:

Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance

Minimum 1 year working experience in an Accounting or Finance capacity (co-op experience may be included)

Strong data entry skills and strong prioritization and organizational skills with an ability to multitask

High volume data entry for invoices

Preparing and maintaining inventory reports, vendor lists, aging reports, etc.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Expense Management: Monitor and review employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper documentation.

Proven work experience as an Accounting Assistant, Accounting Clerk, or similar role is preferred.

Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.

Budget Assistance: Collaborate with the finance team to assist in budget preparation and monitoring of budgetary compliance.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Knowledge of accounting, data management practices and procedures. Previous work experience in accounting and bookkeeping is preferred.

Strong multitasking and time management skills.

Engaging in relationship management with customers in terms of accounts receivable

Follow up on accounts receivable and provide weekly reports to management

Bachelors in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting/Bookkeeping or a related field required;

3-5 years of work experience as an Accounting or Payroll specialist or in a similar position preferred.

Manage and process monthly remittance for the RRSP, Company health and dental benefit plans and Workers Compensation.

Working knowledge of ADP WorkForce Now preferred, knowledge and experience with payroll software/systems required.

Data Entry of accounts payables invoices.

Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles.

Comprehensive knowledge of the MS Great Plains accounts payable software.

Knowledge of the accounts payable cycle.

·Accounting/Business Administration education and/or minimum 2 years relevant work experience.

·Good knowledge of accounting theory and practices.

·Minimum 2 years payroll experience.

·Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

·Sales tax knowledge would be considered an asset.

·Review, Audit and Verify Vendor invoices and internal expenses.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Post-secondary education from a recognized institution in business administration, accounting, or related discipline, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills including extensive experience using Excel.

New graduate of an accredited accounting program, or at least 2+ years of basic accounting experience is required.

2+ years of experience processing multi-faceted payroll (salary, hourly, overtime, gratuities, etc.) is required.

Prior experience using Payworks is an asset.

Knowledge of Finance and HR systems, where experience with Oracle, JD Edwards, Ceridian Dayforce, and Workday would be an asset

Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as Payroll Advisory, Property Managers, and other accounting and FP&A teams

Completing assignments at the direction of the team Lead or Senior Manager

An undergraduate degree with an emphasis in accounting and finance

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical, problem solving and reasoning skills
