Overview The Patient Care Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality patient care services in a healthcare setting. This includes managing the day-to-day operations of the patient care team, ensuring that patient care standards are met, and developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care. Detailed Job Description The Patient Care Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality patient care services in a healthcare setting. This includes managing the day-to-day operations of the patient care team, ensuring that patient care standards are met, and developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care. The Patient Care Manager will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising staff, as well as managing patient records and billing. The Patient Care Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with other healthcare providers, such as physicians and specialists, to ensure the best possible patient care. • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
• Ability to manage and motivate staff
• Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures
• Knowledge of patient safety and infection control protocols
• Knowledge of medical billing and coding
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Current RN or LPN license
• Certification in healthcare management or related field (preferred)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures
• Knowledge of patient safety and infection control protocols
• Knowledge of medical billing and coding
Job Experience
• At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience in managing and motivating staff
• Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures
• Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with other healthcare providers
