Qualifications Include a Combination Of Relevant Experience And Training.

Provide care and emotional nurturing, as well as skilled intervention and supervision of the children and youth living in the home.

Cooperate with the staff team to monitor resident behaviours.

Maintain a clean, safe environment.

Be responsible for food preparation, housekeeping duties, and maintenance of the house.

Demonstrated ability and experience dealing with aggressive behaviours and effective de-escalation and boundary setting skills.

2 Year diploma in social services or certification in security.

3+ years of experience working with older adults and/or seniors with mental health, addictions issues, and street involvement.

Demonstrated ability in written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution and crisis intervention skills.

Knowledge of geriatric and aging issues.
