Osp Intake Worker Jobs in Nova Scotia

Excellent customer service, organization, time management, written and communication skills

Contribute to the entry and maintenance of an asset compliance management database system.

Must be able to use I-pad (or similar) for Field inspection/Survey work and possess basic computer skills

Experience with aerial make ready local utility overhead aerial construction codes (GO128/95 in CA) is required

Inspect, Evaluate and Analyze Aerial and Underground facilities for compliance with applicable internal and external safety and regulatory standards.

Provide occasional repair guidance and suggestions to OSP vendors and in house maintenance teams.

CATV/HFC/TELCO/UTILITY OSP planning/construction related experience and knowledge is preferred.

Must have experience working on a project team and managing milestone execution on projects.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be organized, detail oriented and personable.

Verifies serviceability, surveys proposed service routing, estimates material, construction, and labor costs.

Performs field engineering of proposed projects and ensures alternative routing delivers the most cost-effective design for construction.

Work closely with contractors, vendors, and city planners for permitting, right-of-way, and easements.

Knowledge of IWK and community resources (DCS, law enforcement, SANE, victim services) and skills in navigating systems.

Minimum of two (2) years related clinical experience, required.

Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in intake and/or client navigation, preferred.

Experience in child protection settings preferred.

Knowledge of Department of Community Services (DCS) processes preferred

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification required or willingness to gain certification.
