Optical Systems Engineer Jobs in Alberta

Define, cascade and oversee execution of Statement of Work/ Statement of Requirements for system, sub-systems and system components.

Must have demonstrated excellence in communication / presenting / influencing / salespersonship skills

Possess in-depth knowledge of MBSE methodology. Demonstrated ability to model and design system within an MBSE SW package preferred

Possess working knowledge of C/C+, Assembly language, Arduino code, Matlab, Simulink, Labview, Lab windows or other software design/test tools

Possesses working knowledge of EDA tools, electronic circuit board design and manufacturing. Familiarity with fabrication and test of electronic products

Vehicle level bus communication protocol development experience (i.e. CAN, LIN)

Conduct meetings with internal and external clients to gather and analyze requirements

Provide training and knowledge transfers

6+ years collective experience in designing and maintaining the following:

In-depth knowledge of the following:

Design and implement physical and virtual servers, storage, and network infrastructure (on-premise and cloud)

Maintain security compliance to protect client data and intellectual property

SRE – Focuses on how we best deploy/manage all the infrastructure every single day using tools like Ansible & Azure DevOps

API’s & Gateway - Focuses on how evolve to Microservice architecture using .NET Core

Test – Focuses on quality, how we improve quality & how we maintain quality using automated testing tools like Cypress

You have used Active Directory

You have used Azure Ad 365

You have worked on Windows 10, 2008, 2012

Challenge to keep your knowledge up-to-date.

Preferably minimum of 2-3 years’ hands on experience with Triconex hardware & software packages.

Experience with short & long-term planning
