Experience in the design/implementation of educational programs, especially for adult learners.

Create and deliver educational materials on the informal and formal resolution processes.

Manage the formal complaint process as per UNB policies and best practices.

Manage the case file life cycles (open, add, close, destroy) and maintain confidential electronic records.

Perform security checks and liaise with students, customers, and the public.

Ensure site safety and emergency procedures are followed and maintain written reports.

Enforce compliance to company policies and procedures.

First aid – be prepared to administer when required.

Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through collaboration.

Please note, students currently enrolled with Brescia University College are not eligible to apply to this position.

Reporting site incidents to Operations Managers.

Job Duties May Include, But Are Not Restricted To

Responding to any medical emergencies

Coordinating and liaising with the BCAS when required

Working in co-ordination with security guards.

Candidates willing to get there Security workers license would be considered as an asset*

An undergraduate degree or other suitable educational background and relevant lived experience;

A demonstrated aptitude for managing diverse and sometimes conflicting responsibilities, combined with flexibility and strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills;

A minimum of 2-3 years work experience in social/human/equity services and support;

Excellent interpersonal skills and active listening skills;

Experience working with the effects of oppression on individuals and communities;

Experience or connection to working in post-secondary environment;

We can guarantee 40 hours/week

OFA 2 certification (Occupational First Aid Level 2)

Crisis Intervention Certification would be considered an asset

WHMIS certification would be considered an asset

Minimum of two (2) years experience in the security industry or equivalent experience would be considered an asset
