Networking Software Tester Jobs

Develop and manage operational processes to ensure QA processes link into technology delivery practices and standards.

3+ years experience in a Software Tester rold.

Experience in testing mobile, web, and backend components.

Skilled in API testing and performance testing (SoapUI, Postman, selenium, JMeter).

Knowledge of managing test cases with TestRail or other tools.

Be accountable for all project and release testing including integration, business acceptance, performance, operability, and deployment verification.

Collaborating with Product Management and other cross-functional teams

Communicating with co-workers and management on continuous improvement and potential projects.

Assisting with the development of testing and measurement methods for the performance of the network.

Maintaining product quality through automated testing, software engineering practices, and code reviews.

Programming skills in Python and JavaScript

Knowledge of software testing methodologies

Experience with Linux or other RHEL-based OS

Develop test scripts using JavaScript or Python

Execute tests (scripts and manual) against a running NSP system

Troubleshoot and document issues found with design counterparts

Extensive experience in designing and implementing self-checking test-benches, coverage closure techniques and regression management flows

Experience and knowledge of communications standards (such as Ethernet, Flex Ethernet, OTN, Interlaken)

Experience and knowledge with IEEE security protocols (such as MACsec, IPsec)

Good working knowledge of SystemC and TLM with some related experience.

Strong team player with excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones.

Review functional and code coverage metrics – modify or add tests or constraint random tests to meet the coverage requirements

Knowledge in the following tools: TFS, Microsoft Test Manager, SOATest, Microsoft visual Studio, Microsoft SQL server and Microsoft Office;

To identify test risks based on project requirements;

To implement and develop automated tests based on requirements specifications;

To design test cases related to business workflow's scenarios and validate requirements' acceptance criteria;

2+ Years of relevant experience on Test Process;

High level of knowledge on Test Automation tools (TestComplete, CodeUI, Protactor or Selenium Test);
