Museum Guide Jobs in British Columbia

3+ years’ experience in account management or dedicated customer relationship management/sales role preferred

Manage a book of business of 300+ customers in various vehicle journey lifecycles across 14+ states

Manages and reports on customer escalations or exception cases up to leadership through ownership 

Manage and guide the cross functional partners to ensure timeout customer delivery and exceptional customer service 

Share trends and areas of opportunity within our process to operationally improve our effectiveness and the customer experience

Listen and understand the needs of each owner so that you can deliver a tailored brand experience.

Provide educational information in an engaging and fun manner regarding the nature and wildlife in the rainforest

Actively participate in enriching your knowledge of the Capilano’s history and the rainforest

Minimum 1 year of Guest Services experience

Previous experience in public speaking is an asset

Deliver tours that are engaging, informative, and punctual as scheduled and instructed

Follow scheduled daily rotation in an efficient and punctual manner

Required Qualification, Knowledge, Education and Skills

•Develop and maintain an integrated pest management program

•Considerable knowledge of hazardous materials that may be found in museum collections and knowledge of containment options;

•Working knowledge of the overall objectives of a civic museum and of museum display techniques;

•Skill in the use and care of scientific laboratory equipment;

•Digitization and database work experience an asset;
