With 10+ years of relevant experience in a Mining EPCM Engineering environment, mining construction and/or mining operations.

Mining project construction execution experience is essential

·Experience in cost management, budgeting, and financial analysis related to mining operations.

·Manage and optimize mining equipment utilization, including fleet management, equipment maintenance, and deployment strategies.

·Monitor and control mining costs, including labor, equipment, consumables, and contractor management, to optimize operational expenses.

·Implement and enforce effective risk management practices, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.

·Excellent understanding of mining equipment, fleet management, and maintenance practices.

·Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to mining operations.

4 - 8 years of project management experience, representing owners in the delivery of building developments.

Advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and experience working in a PMO environment.

Provide oversight and leadership to the change management process, payment certificates and other contract or project related administrative documents.

Oversee the control of project related documents and deliver all work in accordance with our Quality Management System and procedures.

A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management.

Project Management Professional designation (PMP).

Required qualifications are as follows:

·Have 10 years of relevant experience in mining engineering

·Have a good knowledge of Deswik suite software

Define and execute business development strategy.

Plan and coordinate the roll-out of product training.

Meet Plants’ ore supply requirements in the short and long term as well as all product quality specifications.

A Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering combined with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

Supervisory experience managing interdisciplinary teams of over twenty individuals, preferably in high tonnage operations.

Written and verbal communication skills in French would be an asset

Assistant Manager – Mining Operations

Schedule and direct all mining activities including stripping, drilling, blasting, haulage, reclamation.

Oversee management of business development budgets for the metallurgical engineering sector

Knowledge and experience in mineral processing and metallurgical extraction processes as well as in performing operating and capital cost estimates

Experience in budgeting, estimating and scheduling, with financial modeling skills being an asset
