An International Mining company is looking for an experienced Exploration Manager for its project in Egypt.

- Make recommendations to management derived from property appraisals

- Insure efficient management to meet scope, time and budget.

The Mineral Exploration Manager’s tasks will include, but are not necessarily limited to:

- Manage company’s exploration interests and exploration programs under his responsibility

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Develop new service offerings to increase revenue.

Receive appointments from customers and review the inspection requirements. Prepare and submit proposals as necessary.

Direct staff for all upcoming jobs and ensure service requirements are carried out.

Support any other duties that may be assigned by Manager

Strong working knowledge of the industry.

Experience with non-hydrocarbon subsurface management challenges, such as geothermal, hydrogen storage, chemical storage, would be advantageous.

Prepare and deliver professional-quality presentations to technical peers and management.

Possess skills in structural geology, including fault interpretation and assessment of fault seal.

Have experience in planning and being involved in operational decision-making for several wells.

Conduct exploration mapping and generate options for CO2 storage in the subsurface geology of Saudi Arabia.

Interpret seismic data, including seismic stratigraphic interpretations, to identify storage opportunities.

Experience in planning, leading, coordinating and/or facilitating multi-staged projects;

Experience researching and reviewing Indigenous policies, regulation, directives, plans, guidelines and/or legislative initiatives;

Experience as liaison with Indigenous governments.

Diploma or degree in Anthropology, Public Administration, Political Science, Law, Natural Resources or a related field;

Willingness to travel within Yukon

Organized, detail oriented, with advanced time management skills, proactive communication skills, and high quality work habits

Knowledge of Project Management principles

Manage timelines, communication, and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously with accountability to commitments

Using your coding skills to automate workflows, support other members of the Geospatial Solutions team and improve/maintain existing scripts

Using your resourcefulness to identify and manage spatial datasets (e.g. geological data, optical imagery, existing maps, etc)

Post-secondary education in Geology, Geomatics, Civil, Geotechnical or Mine Engineering, or other related disciplines
