Merchandising Space Planner Jobs

Review and analyze selling and manage product inventory for the Digital-Commerce site.

Manage replenishment plans to ensure that sales are optimized and make recommendations to better support the business.

Create and manage any exception-based reporting for any items with no sales.

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Merchandising/Retail, Finance, or similar.

4-6 years of experience in allocation, planning or merchandising capacity.

High level of experience and proficiency in Excel.

- Develop and manage planning and analysis tools

- Using your organizational and analytical skills to strategically place products to maximize sales

- Strong analytical skills & the ability to demonstrate them

- Merchandising experience is an asset – especially in a corporate retail office environment

- Retail experience is an asset

- Experience with JDA or working with plan-o-grams

Maintain a mature and professional relationship with all personnel in the work area, coworkers and HSE supervisors and managers.

Previous experience working in conjunction with standby rescue teams, is preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience running breathing air systems, is preferred.

Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion, overview, and management of complex assignments

Develops and completes drawings as per occupancy policies and procedures; sustains filing and drawing management protocols

Demonstrated ability to work with CAD drawings and integrate it with other facility management software

Minimum education: College Diploma - Technician (architectural, structural, electrical, or mechanical)

3-5 years of demonstrated experience

Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization

* Strong Project Management skills.

* Apply QC tools and processes to floor plans. Manage planogram-store assignments.

* Manage & hold stakeholders accountable to project timelines and standards.

* Communicates and produces outputs that reflect strong business acumen and capacity to manage multiple priorities.

* 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the retail/CPG/merchandising space.

* JDA Floor Plan and Space Planning experience and expertise.

·Minimum of 6 years work experience with a focus on commercial office planning.

·Experience in understanding and following BOMA Standards, measurement methods and analysis studies.

·Experience in developing multi-tenant planning scenarios and test-fit options as well as sample layouts for marketing purposes.

·Experience reading and coordinating construction drawings.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands

Architectural Technologist, Architectural CAD Technician or equivalent, with demonstrated significant experience in space planning.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills

Solid client service acumen and interpersonal relationship skills

Knowledge of applicable national (Canada) and provincial (NS) buildings codes and regulations.

5 years of relevant experience in space planning, including balancing multiple stakeholder needs and competing priorities.
