Mechanical Quality Assurance Inspector Jobs in Ontario

Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality principles

Knowledge of the Health and Safety Act and Regulations

Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard

SPC Knowledge and interpretation from manual and computerized sources

Knowledge of quality assurance terminology and procedure

Manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma or General Educational Diploma (GED)

Completion of community college in a related field of study or similar work experience strongly desired

Quality Assurance courses/certifications considered an asset

Good working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office

Weld Inspection experience an asset

Responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements.

Must have previous QA work experience

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Creates a great profile with Randstad in working on multiple assignments

Responsible for performing surveillance and source inspection either remotely or at the supplier’s facility.

Review certification of NDE materials used by supplier.

Perform visual, dimensional, or Non Destructive Examination inspections of components, assemblies, forgings, castings, fabrications, etc. against Purchase Order requirements.

Degree or diploma in technology or equivalent working experience.

Knowledge of ISO 9001, CSA N285.0 and N299 quality programs is an asset.

Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles.
