Market Insights Intern Jobs in Manitoba

Currently enrolled or recently graduated from post-secondary education with a focus on business, commerce, or economic development;

Exceptional English verbal/written communication skills; additional language proficiencies are a plus, but not required;

Experience with data analysis, dashboards, and/or KPIs

Knowledge of basic statistical terms and data visualization best practices

Experience using data management and visualization solutions (tableau, PowerBI)

Must have experience with utilizing multiple data sets/sources for forecasting purposes – including market research, IQVIA, epidemiology, publications, etc.

3 +years of Canadian forecasting and analytics experience within pharmaceutical/biotech industry

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Demand forecasts for key products Monitor and track performance against monthly demand forecasts.

Revise and update forecast models on a quarterly basis

Build and maintain a knowledge database

Experience in Corporate Wellness, Mental Health, Wellbeing and digital platforms is an asset

Interpersonal skills oriented toward listening, collaboration, teamwork and resiliency

Conduct market intelligence and research across a wide range of market segments

Procure and analyze internal and external data sources, including primary and secondary research

Contribute to communications, reports and presentations showing key trends and summarizing complex research findings into short and clear actionable insights

Good Project Management skills in prioritizing multiple tasks

Equally experienced in leveraging syndicated data, i.e., Nielsen MarketTrack, Homescan, Numerator HH panel, Customer data, Brand Power data

Demonstrated high performance, 7+ years of relevant experience (such as client service, consulting, market research) required

Experience working with and analyzing data from Nielsen, IRI, and Numerator (both scanning and panel)

Experience managing stakeholders and business partners across functions

Leadership mentality – this is a small function in Canada that needs a strong leader

Using technical and business skills to manipulate and draw conclusions from data and provide actionable audience specific recommendations.

Strong analytical, data manipulation and problem-solving skills and ability to distil insights and assess opportunities.

Experience in statistics, research and data analysis.

Passion for research methodologies, exploratory data analyses, predictive modelling, segmentation, user experience, and web analytics.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Supporting multi-channel tracking and analytics (web, telephone, email etc.)

Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize a diverse workload

Experience in financial services, specifically life insurance and/or wealth management preferred

Product support: accountable for delivering market insights/competitive intelligence research and analysis to support on-going product development and management activities

3+ years of relevant experience in an analytical/ insights/ competitive intelligence role

Strong research, contextualization, and analytical skills

Knowledge of or has the aptitude to develop an understanding of insurance/wealth products
