Overview Manufacturing Material Handlers are responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials in a manufacturing environment. They are responsible for the movement of raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility. They must be able to accurately identify and locate materials, as well as ensure that all materials are stored and handled in a safe and secure manner. Detailed Job Description Manufacturing Material Handlers are responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials in a manufacturing environment. This includes the movement of raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility. They must be able to accurately identify and locate materials, as well as ensure that all materials are stored and handled in a safe and secure manner. They must also be able to operate a variety of material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists. In addition, they must be able to read and interpret shipping documents, such as bills of lading and packing slips. Job Skills Required• Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents
• Ability to accurately identify and locate materials
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Forklift certification
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Knowledge of material handling equipment
• Knowledge of shipping documents
• Knowledge of warehouse operations
Job Experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience operating material handling equipment
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment

• Safely and efficiently move materials throughout the facility
