Job Description
Material Handler/Laborer
Location: NW, Edmonton, candidates must have a reliable vehicle as the location is not transit accessible
Salary: $20/hr
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Do you excel in a fast-paced work environment? Are you a warehouse general labourer and have experience working in an industrial or distribution facility?
We are currently looking for an experienced material handler to work as one of the providers of professional corrosion engineering consulting and cathodic protection services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, private industry, universities and public transportation agencies
Advantages
Salary: $20/hr
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
6 Month contract with the Opportunity to extend
Payday every week
Responsibilities
Main role will be filling bags of Coke freeze in the warehouse
Other responsibilities are;
General warehouse duties
Receiving product
General Labour- Lifting up to 50 lbs
Housekeeping duties as assigned
order picking and packing
Qualifications
6 mos to 2 years of experience in a warehouse or industrial setting
Physically fit and has the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50lbs
Comfortable with repetitive lifting
Forklift experience is an asset
Must have WHIMIS and CSTS certifications
Must have legal authorization to work in Canada by way of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit.
