•Working knowledge of SAGE 300 or other Not-for-profit accounting systems with project management experience.

•2-5 years of progressive financial, accounting and team management experience.

•Strong organizational, team and time management skills.

•Demonstrated project management skills through the full life cycle of a project.

•Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including facilitation and presentation abilities.

•Assist Manager, Contract & Funder relations in managing Program funds reporting as and when required.

Experience with GAAP is a must; IFRS is a plus

Create, build and improve our financial statement templates. Maintain and update a template library for use by all team members

Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required

Excellent skills in Accounting Software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Caseware)

Supervising (and completing when necessary) the preparation of working paper files, financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns]

Assisting in the direction and training of staff, reviewing completed files to ensure quality of work

Prioritizing projects, establish budgets and assigning staff to meet client deadlines

2+ years of experiencein financial reporting & analysis

Relationship building and communication with stakeholders

Improve accounting procedures and policies

Act as key contact for all reporting inquiries

Review and organize financial reporting, analysis, and budgets

Facilitate internal audit and provide areas of operations improvement

Assist with the preparation of the Company’s quarterly and annual Financial Statements and Management Discussion & Analysis.

Support the internal and external audit processes and manage interim and annual audit requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related major is required.

4+ years’ experience including public accounting experience is preferred.

Experience with U.S. GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced spreadsheet modeling.
