Lead Software Test Specialist Jobs

Create, execute, and manage test plans, including both automated and manual tests, finding creative ways to validate the full software stack

Proven experience in QA or Test role

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication of expected system functionality and test results

Strong programming skills (C++, Python, or similar)

Experience developing & testing for Windows, Linux x86, ARM, and using Docker

Excellent knowledge of GitHub workflows, templates, runners.

·Demonstrated programming skills and previous experience developing test scripts using Python

·Experience with various communication protocols and interfaces (for example, JTAG, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, RS485, RS232, etc.)

·Knowledge of wireless communication principles

·Good knowledge and understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals

·Create, execute and maintain test plans to verify and validate new product designs;

·Identify, develop and maintain scripts, tools and automation test cases using Python or NI TestStand;

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Specialization in Aerospace and Aeronautical is an asset.

At least three years of relevant experience. Knowledge of aircraft systems, pilot license are an asset.

Prepare engineering test plans to ensure that specifications and design requirements can be verified and validated.

Lead the CAE team during simulator qualification with the local authorities.

Knowledge of aeronautical industry processes: manufacturing, maintenance, software, is an asset.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good team spirit.

Help create requirements for system enhancements or defect resolutions

University degree in Computer Science / Engineering or similar qualification.

7 years of experience managing testing team members and execution of test plans

Technical experience in software platforms such as Windows and Linux

Technical experience with query-based database tools and relational SQL databases

Experience with SQL Server, .NET, HL7, C-CDA, XML and stylesheets

Manage performance assessments and hiring for a small team of SDETs

Minimum 8 years of experience in test development

Minimum 2 years of experience leading a small team

Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, WebdriverIO

Experience with any of the following is an asset:

Drive the team’s testing and automation strategies

You will develop in-depth system and application knowledge to maximize test quality and coverage.

Minimum 2 years of experience establishing and leading an organizational test automation strategy.

Experience with unit testing and TDD (Test Driven methodologies) using JUnit, NUnit, or similar tools.

Hands-on experience in test automation of APIs (SOAP/REST services).

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Agile methodologies.

Experience working in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins for executing automated tests.
