Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience required

Knowledge of Infection Control procedures

Provide a supply of clean, sanitary linen for various hospital departments;

Collect soiled linen from various hospital departments;

Maintain the linen rooms in a clean, sanitary, safe and orderly manner in accordance with established procedures; and

Wash, dry, fold, sort, and label personal resident clothing.

Ability to maintain established production standards

Must be able to work with little supervision and the ability to multi-task

Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly

Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

French language skills (verbal and written) are an asset

Maintain and provide clean linens for Hotel Housekeeping and Food & Beverage outlets for Casino and Hotel;

Separate linens according to linen classifications and weights to ensure maximum efficiency of wash loads;

Load and unload washers and load and unload dryers once cycle is complete into proper receptacles;

Select appropriate wash and dryer cycle based on linen classification;
