About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Laundry Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required to:
- Wash, dry, fold, sort, and label personal resident clothing.
- Provide a supply of clean, sanitary linen for various hospital departments;
- Collect soiled linen from various hospital departments;
- Maintain the linen rooms in a clean, sanitary, safe and orderly manner in accordance with established procedures; and
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Knowledge of Infection Control procedures
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience required
Hours
- Permanent, part-time (40%) position; 30 hours bi-weekly
