Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Geosciences, Environmental Engineering or other related discipline (alternative educational backgrounds will be considered with experience);

Possession of, or eligibility for P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation (alternative designations will be considered with experience);

Maintain professional growth and development by participating in approved conferences and training opportunities when relevant to job duties. Requirements and Qualifications:

Supervise lands department staff, including hiring, development, mentorship and addressing performance management issues.

Relocation assistance is provided, if not presently a resident of Gold River, BC. Duties and Responsibilities:

Bachelor of Science, Forestry or a diploma/degree in Natural Sciences in combination with experience will be considered.

Experience managing staff including discipline and termination when needed.

Must have strong experience applying for funding from various federal and government organizations.

Maintain professional growth and development by participating in approved conferences and training opportunities when relevant to job duties. Requirements and Qualifications:

Acts as department liaison with Council, staff, contractors, government departments, private sector and other First Nation and aboriginal organizations, as authorized.

Develops multi-year strategic plans related to land use and resource use and development on-reserve

Develops and delivers community consultation relevant to Lands & Natural Resources initiatives/projects.
