Coordinate across phases of furniture projects, including:

• Liaise with suppliers, vendors and trades, as well as clients as needed

• Organize samples and documents, filing in respective project bins/binders

• Interior Design Degree (not a must but highly considered) from a recognized institution

Minimum 2 years of experience in interior decorating and sales.

Strong sales and customer service skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Consult with customers to determine their flooring and design needs.

Utilize your artistic flair to create inviting interior spaces that coincide with clients preferences and budget.

Proven experience as a sales associate or in a customer-facing role, preferably within the design industry.

Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, with the ability to create compelling content.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and suppliers.

Responsible to apply building code and construction regulation knowledge, under direction

1-3 years of experience in commercial, institutional, and workplace

Experience preparing construction documents and specifications

Experience working on multiple projects, and successfully managing priorities, conflicting deadlines and various demands

Experience in interior design phases, pre-design to construction administration

Participate in an integrated design team to achieve design concepts and space planning

Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, consultant coordination and compliance with local Building Codes and City Bylaw requirements before submissions.

0-5 years of related experience in the production of interior design contract documents

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; InDesign, 3D rendering and SketchUp skills an asset.

Strong working knowledge of Interior Design process, planning, creative detailing, specifications, and building systems.

Experience in various building typologies including commercial, workplace and institutional is preferred.

Experience in contract administration forms and procedures.

Interior Design: A minimum of 2-3 years related experience within an Interior Design Firm or Equivalent.

Candidates in the process of receiving degree or diploma will be considered pending a strong portfolio presentation and Revit Architecture skills);

A passion for residential design and display a high degree of creative thinking

Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit Architecture Mandatory- (SketchUp & Photoshop a bonus)
