Have prior experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.

1 year experience creating content that matches a brand’s specific aesthetic or a portfolio which displays as much.

Have experience making relevant, engaging content for social media that does well organically; as well as for ads is an asset

Experience in image retouching in Adobe Photoshop

Deliver video and design projects within specific platform specifications and timing requirements.

BS or BA or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.

2+ years related industry experience of hands-on creation of digital content for social media and other platforms.

Experience with shooting still photography, editing, and post-production (editing, coloring, audio engineering, titles, graphics, etc.)

Proven design and video experience for social media and digital platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Websites with a focus on mobile-first.

Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible and adaptable attitude and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of organization.

• Proven experience as a Content Creator or similar role, with a portfolio of successful digital content.

• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Google, and TikTok.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Edit and enhance static images and videos to create engaging visual content.

• Develop and execute creative ideas and campaigns

• To create static and video ads for Facebook, Instagram, Google, and TikTok.

Knowledge of Trello or another project management software, Mural and Smartsheet an asset

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Creative Writing, or Communications, or 3-5 years of relevant experience with similar job responsibilities

Prepare well-structured drafts using digital publishing platforms

Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise our company and products

Edit and proofread written pieces before publication

Must be reliable, punctual, good verbal communication skills, attention to detail, good listener;

Working-knowledge of industry-standard photography or videography software tools

Capture professional video/photography on site in our classrooms and lab spaces that showcase student talents

Collaborate on storyboards, messaging and goals prior to each shoot

Recommend and suggest ideas on site to help support these goals

Adhere to established branding guidelines provided by Algonquin College

• Brainstorm new social media ideas to present to Management

• Collaborate with Management to build promotional and marketing content

Reports to: General Manager, Head of Youth Development and Technical Director

• Manage the academy's Tik Tok account

Start Date: Outdoor Season (ASAP)

Expected Workload: 5 - 15 Hrs / Week (Part Time)

Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.

Social Media growth and management experience

Manage company websites and online stores (Shopify based)

Minimum 3 years full-time professional work experience

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator, InDesign)

UX experience with an analytical approach to maximizing UX on e-commerce websites
