Setup company-directed promotions and programs

Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards

• Good oral and written communication skills, keyboarding skills, and a working knowledge of basic computer programming.

• Current & valid Certificate of Qualification (Ontario) Truck & Coach Technician (310-T).

• Excellent customer service skills when dealing with the public, fire services, and other staff.

Demonstrated skills and experience in mainstream communications within the labour movement, media or community organizations

Training: develop and facilitate media skills training for union members and affiliates

Excellent written communication skills, including news reporting, magazine writing and editing

Excellent verbal communications, including experience designing and facilitating workshops

Training and experience in graphic design (InDesign, Photoshop, and others)

Lead, coach and motivate colleagues to improve productivity, engagement and retention

Be committed to maintaining merchandising and operational standards

Strong experience and knowledge in lean manufacturing systems (ABS), Production Control and Quality Systems.

Working knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes.

Effectively manage employee and labor relations issues including contract administration, grievance handling, and day-to-day employee complaints/issues.

Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing/product environment.

Knowledge of principles and application of lean manufacturing and Quality Systems and production planning.

Highly developed oral (influencing) and written communication skills.
