Intermediate Optical Module Test Engineer Jobs

Wafer-Level PIC Test, Die-Level PIC Test, Laser-Die Test

Optical-Engine Calibration & Functional Test

In-Circuit test (ICT) and Manufacturing Defect Analyzer (MDA)

Conduct test cases and carry out manual activities according to project requirements.

Draft test plans and cases.

Document test procedures and help draft test plans and cases based on technical and functional specifications.

Draft quality assurance reports when various testing stages have been completed

Recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency of quality assurance processes.

Looking for an individual who can lead E2E testing, automated code testing, testing across multiple teams/APIs

Familiarity with quadrature amplitude modulation theory is a requirement; modern DSP knowledge including soft decision FEC is helpful.

Partner with engineering staff to define and implement detailed testability requirements

Previous experience in developing test and measurement solutions for electrical and optical components or subsystems is beneficial

Proficient in writing scalable software a requirement.

Experience with object-oriented languages required. VB.Net exposure is a plus.

Experience with testing and characterizing photonic circuits containing I/Q modulators and demodulators.

Experience with SQL database management and handling large data

Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in Test & Automation

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a telecommunication systems environment

Experience in optical communication systems (e.g., ROADM, EDFA, OPM) is a plus

Experience with SSH, Telnet, API based automation and testing and tools

Knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools

Experience with a Learning Management System (Brightspace or Moodle is an asset)

Registered Dental Assistant with the PDM skill or Registered Dental Hygienist with full scope of practice

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience

Relevant field experience within the last six (6) months

1-2 years of experience in training or teaching

Experience and fluency with Office 365 (MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)

3+ years’ experience being in a role where you are responsible for product quality.

Strong troubleshooting skills and can create test plans, test cases, and can plan and independently implement test automation.

Experience applying Agile development/testing methodologies.

Experience in SQL and an ability to write queries is helpful

You will analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate with other engineers to influence design and testability.

You will provide support replicating and troubleshooting production issues with the development team and opening/closing bugs using JIRA.
