Intermediate Cad Technician Jobs in Alberta

Junior CAD Technician (minimum 2 years of experience)

Intermediate CAD Technician (6-7 years of experience)

Senior CAD Technician (10+ years of experience)

Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge in projects from concept to completion;

2-10 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and design;

Experience in working on the field would be considered as an asset;

Strong organization and time management skills.

Assist the Project Managers and design staff to provide status updates, discuss challenges, and address plan revisions.

One year CAD certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

At least 3 years of CAD design experience.

Good communication skills, both verbally and written.

Experience with Active Directory, group policies, and user management

Utilize Datto PSA for IT ticketing system to manage and track support requests efficiently

Minimum of five years of experience working as an IT Technician or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems

Experience using Datto PSA or other IT ticketing system is highly preferred

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure

Production of temporary works and groundworks designs and drawings

Drawing up designs using AutoCAD 2D and 3D

Liaising with the rest of the design team

Assisting other areas of the business if value can be added

Hold a HND or Degree within an Engineering Discipline

Background within the Groundworks, Scaffolding or Temporary work sector.
