Cad Technician Jobs

The opportunity

WSP is seeking CAD Technicians at all levels to join our Infrastructure department in Western Canada. Reporting to the CAD Manager, Infrastructure, this position will be responsible for applying Civil 3D knowledge on project work from conceptual design through to completion on two very large national civil projects.

We are looking for:

• Junior CAD Technician (minimum 2 years of experience)
• Senior CAD Technician (10+ years of experience)
• Intermediate CAD Technician (6-7 years of experience)

A day in the life:

• Earthworks modeling; and
• Design assistance;
• Prepare engineering drawings to specified standards;
• Other duties as assigned/required.
• Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge in projects from concept to completion;

What You'll Bring To WSP...

• Highly motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic team player;
• 2-10 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and design;
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting;
• Knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D software is mandatory;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a flexible attitude are a must; and
• Capable of working independently.
• Experience in working on the field would be considered as an asset;
