Overview:
Intensive Care Nurses (ICN) are highly skilled nurses who provide specialized care to critically ill patients in intensive care units (ICUs). They are responsible for monitoring and assessing the patient’s condition, providing treatments and medications, and communicating with the patient’s family and other healthcare professionals.Detailed Job Description:
Intensive Care Nurses are responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill patients in ICUs. They must be able to assess the patient’s condition and provide treatments and medications as needed. They must also be able to communicate effectively with the patient’s family and other healthcare professionals. ICNs must be able to recognize changes in the patient’s condition and respond quickly and appropriately. They must also be able to provide emotional support to the patient and their family.What is Intensive Care Nurse Job Skills Required?

• Ability to assess and monitor patient’s condition
• Knowledge of medical terminology and treatments

What is Intensive Care Nurse Job Qualifications?
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN)
• Experience in an ICU setting
What is Intensive Care Nurse Job Knowledge?
• Knowledge of medical terminology and treatments
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Knowledge of pharmacology
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Knowledge of medical equipment and technology
What is Intensive Care Nurse Job Experience?
• At least one year of experience in an ICU setting
