- Strong organizational and project management skills to plan and coordinate research activities and collaborations

- Project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion within tightly prescribed timelines

- Professional manner, tact, diplomacy and discretion in dealing with associates and colleagues including senior management

- 4 years experience working in an academic research environment with faculty, researchers, and partners

- Experience preparing/writing/reviewing research grants and proposals

- Experience working as part of a research team, preferably in an engineering or science-related discipline

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Must have strong writing and editing skills.

·Solid experience in investigative research at an academic or professional level.

Conduct timely political research on various topics and analysis of issues relevant to the PCCO and the PC Caucus.

Prepare written communications—letters, briefs, reports, presentations—reflecting research results.

Attend House Sittings, Committee Meetings and other internal or external meetings as assigned.
