Strong computer skills with MS Office and Project Management Systems

Competent in conflict and crisis management

Undergraduate degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or another relevant field

Strong leadership skills with experience managing all disciplines, internal employees and external sub-trades

10+ years’ construction experience in a supervisory capacity

Advanced project management skills, able to manage concurrent project and prioritize responsibilities for self and team

Conduct regular jobsite visits to assigned projects and attend jobsite meetings to assist with risk management.

Lead creation of and make available various detailed project checklists with emphasis on risk management.

Approachable and effectively interact with all employee levels and management

Ensure projects maintain strict adherence to safety, ethics, and compliance requirements at all times.

Manage QC inspections to ensure installations are per contract documents and in accordance with approved shop drawings.

Work in collaboration with external construction management partners to create and maintain an environment of open communication to ensure team success.

Provide support to the Project Director / Senior Project Manager, Field Team, etc.

Create, manage, price, develop, communicate and integrate change orders.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.

Strong Architectural & Civil knowledge, with a basic concept of MEP systems.

Experience with Procore, Textura, Microsoft Excel & Project is an asset

5 years’ Project Management experience in a construction company

Experience using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project or Primavera P6, SAP, Electronic Document Management System, Bluebeam, and Plan grid

Manage financial requirements for the lifecycle of the project, including revenue forecasting, billing, invoicing and approval of payments.

Undergraduate degree in engineering or construction management an asset

Proven track record of successful project management of major building construction in excess of $50 million

Accomplished in delivering projects under a variety of contract types including Construction Management, Design Build, and Hard Bid

Minimum 5 years Project Management experience in a related role.

Any potential changes to Work are identified and mitigation are co-developed between the partner per the project change management procedure

Proactively manage risk and mitigation across the board of Partner

Post-secondary university or college technical degree and/or equivalent work experience

Excellent organizational, communication and customer relationship skills.

Extensive knowledge of project execution, financial operations, estimating and employee relations required.

Establishing project teams, defining roles and responsibilities, and facilitating project team meetings

Experience managing large light industrial warehousing projects from cradle to grave (up to circa $50m+)

A great ability to manage client relationships

Collaborating with preconstruction in preparing, revising, and monitoring information regarding reports related to costs involved in developing the project budget

Directing the process of determining the quantity of budget estimates/deliverables to the client

Managing the project administration and daily operations, escalating issues as necessary
